Bigfoot expedition at a location where there have been reports of a Bigfoot type creature. Several sightings and unknown animal sounds have been heard in the area over the years as well as over 200 strange tracks that were found last year. Who or what made the tracks is unclear but on this day another track was found similar in appearance to the ones discovered last year. The track measured 15 in. in length and 5 1/2 in. wide no other evidence in the area was found although one member felt uneasy in an area he had hiked to. Members of the Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society and the Paranormal Society of Pennsylvania have conducted several outings to the area over the past few years and an overnight expedition is being planned along with monthly one day hikes to the area.

We were invited by Mike Frizzel of the Enigma Project, (based in MD) to join them in a research project of some mysterious stone chambers in the Hudson Valley of NY. The stone chambers are an unexplained mystery, some speculate they were built as root cellars, some say as a place of shelter and storage for revolutionary war soldiers, some say they were built by ancient Celtics. Since there is no recorded history of the chambers no one knows for sure who built them or why they were built. It is in the area of these chambers where unexplained phenomena occurs, many people have had encounters with aliens, ghosts, and UFO sightings in or around the locations of the chambers. What secrets do they hold?

Some of the chambers are in danger of being destroyed by land developers as archeologists don't believe the chambers are a significant find, our mission was to document the chambers with photographs, video, emf readings, and measurements before they are destroyed. Earlier reports had stated the entrance to each chamber was said to have high magnetic readings, however I had used a tri field emf meter and found no increase or decrease in the magnetic field. Compasses had also been used with no abnormal readings. It was a unique experience to be there and be witness to these mysterious chambers before they are forever lost to history. We hope to go back in the near future to conduct more research on the hundreds of chambers that exist in NY. We had a great time and would like to thank Mike Frizzel and Marcus Adams for sharing their time with us.

On the way back home from NY on a suggestion by Mike Frizzel, we decided  to stop by Ringing Rocks state park near Upper Black Eddy, PA. There are few places in the world where the ringing of rocks occurs, this is due to the composition of the rock. Striking the rock with a hammer produces different ringing sounds and only 70% of the rocks in the 7 acres of will ring. It is said that instruments on planes that flew above the rocks would experience gauges not working or spinning wildly suggesting strong magnetic fields. Once again I had used the tri field meter which gave off normal readings although my GPS had mysteriously shut off, thermal scanner readings of the rocks gave different temperatures from 80 degrees to 104 depending on their position to the sun which had been baking the rocks all day. Very interesting place to say the least.

A report received by Stan Gordon, Mike Frizell , and myself told the sighting of a strange creature in central PA, which ran across the road in front of a car of a couple traveling on their way home to Maryland. The description given was not of a creature indigenous to PA. Carol and I joined Mike Frizzel to investigate and photograph what we believe to be the area of the sighting. While no evidence was found, I did find some small depressions in the ground along the embankment that appear to be the tracks of a smaller animal that I believe doesn't fit the description of the creature given.

Received a report of crop circles in parts of MD,  further reports suggested the circles were caused by  natural occurrence due to the recent wind and rain we have had. While driving in Lancaster County I noticed in a field what appeared to be a crop circle. I drove home and got my equipment to photograph and video tape the area. Although it was a crop circle it too was weather related and was similar to the photographs taken in MD.

June 30, thru July 3rd

The PSP conducted a four day investigation of the Railroad House which included 24 hour monitoring. This is an on going investigation each year which has provided evidence of paranormal activity. EVP resulted in several voices, and two members were witness to a shadowy figure in an area where no shadows could have been cast.

July 2003

While attending the PBS cookout we decided to visit nearby  Kecksburg and the site of where a  supposed UFO had crashed in 1965. This location on Meteor Road is about the closet you will get to the site. The woods in the background of the photo is where the object had reportedly fallen.

Members of the PSP and Spirit Society of Pennsylvania took a day trip to historic Fort Delaware in Delaware City, Delaware.  Later that  evening we dined at the Old Canal House restaurant and heard the owners tales of  hauntings of the Old Canal House.

Investigated the report of a Mothman type creature in the Harrisburg area, two tracks which measured 16 inches in length and 6 inches wide were found in the grass along side the road. Who or what made the tracks are unknown.

A year ago I received a report from the PBS, a man claimed to have heard the scream of a strange animal while him and his son were fishing. Being an experienced hunter he was not familiar with the sound the animal had made. The sound frightened the man and his son and they quickly left the area. The area  is about two miles from the reported Mothman attack. Could there be a strange animal roaming the woods in Pennsylvania?

While enroute to the PBS conference, Scott Ditmer and I stopped by Gravity Hill in Bedford County. It's here that when putting your car in neutral and take your foot off the brake the car will roll up hill. Does it work, it did for us. Optical illusion or gravity at work? I will leave that answer up to you.

The Paranormal Society of Pennsylvania was joined by members of the Enigma Project, The Paranormal Research Organization, and the Spirit Society of Pennsylvania for a Paranormal Expedition to the mysterious stone chambers of New York. Reports of hauntings, UFO's, aliens, and other mysterious phenomen are said to be in and around the area of the chambers.

In the center of this photo is an opening to a chamber, as you can see the area is thick with brush. Its at this chamber where aliens have reportedly been seen more than once and even seen running through the brush as if it wasn't there.

The only experience's I had while there were my new batteries in my camera going dead as soon as I turned the camera on. Behind one chamber is a slab some believe may have been used for certain rituals and some say it has healing powers. Living with chronic knee pain I  rested my knee on the slab for about  5 minutes. After returning home I can say the pain in my knee has been reduced by 50%.  Does the slab have healing powers? Perhaps, but what ever the reason that my knee feels better I am more than grateful.

Some members of the expedition had a few experiences and some equipment did register readings that couldn't be explained. Over all it was  a great experience for all of us and we had the advantage of seeing the lunar eclipse from one of the highest points in the Hudson Valley. Most agree the chambers do have a mystery to them and appear older that what's originally believed. It was a great opportunity for PSP members to work with the Enigma Project, Paranormal Research Organization, and the Spirit Society of Pennsylvania. Another expedition is planned for the spring of 2004.

December 26, 2003

PSP members along with John and Kelly Weaver will investigate a reported haunted mill in Lancaster County.

January 2, 2004

PSP members conducted their annual on going investigation of the Railroad House in Marietta, PA. Several EVP's were recorded. PSP member Dr. Travis Mchenry was able to record interaction with the ghostly voice of a little boy saying "Who are you and what are you doing"

February 29, 2004

PBS members Bruce Haines, David Cox, and myself headed to an area in central PA that has sightings in the past of a Bigfoot type creature. The snow was almost knee deep in some areas and following an old logging trail we found a set of tracks which ran for about 20 yards then stopped. There were no more tracks to follow they simply stopped without leaving a trail to somewhere. While most of the tracks were not identifiable, two were and measured 9 in. in length and 5 in wide.

A trip was made to Carbondale, PA to do a preliminary investigation of a report of an object that landed in this silt pond pictured above. The object was said to have been a lantern although opinion of most residents of the town it was something much more and was seen leaving on a military truck. I had talked with several witnesses who are adamant about what happened there in 1974 and future trips are being planned to interview more witnesses. If you or know of someone who has first hand knowledge of this incident please contact me, all information kept strictly confidential.

June 19, 2004

Scott Ditmer and I traveled to Carbondale, PA once again to interview witnesses to the 1974  Lantern / UFO incident. We had talked with a gentleman who was at the site for the three days this incident took place. He still believes it was nothing more than a lantern. On the other hand the other witnesses we had interviewed believe it was something much more than a lantern. What was it? Our investigation continues.

Road leading to silt pond, witness say a military truck was seen leaving this road with a large tarped object loaded on to it. Although accounts differ as to the truck being identified as a  flatbed or a lowboy.

July 10, 2004

Our investigation into the Carbondale Incident continued as Scott Ditmer and I followed a road where several witnesses say they saw a military truck leave under the cover of darkness. There were a few roads back at the pond so Scott and I decided to follow all of them to see where they led.

The road on the left led us to the rock piles that dot the area and circled right around to where we had started.

The road on the right side of the above picture led us here and it was the top of the hill where it split into two roads once again.

We hiked the road to the left which led us to a scenic view of the area and circled around to our beginning point. However the road to the right led us to a witness who said her father had seen a military truck that night come out of this road and turn onto Pearl Street. Where it went from there has not been determined as of yet.

Military truck was reportedly seen making turn onto and going down Pearl Street.
